FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most common questions about selling scrap metal.

What types of scrap metal do you accept?

We accept all ferrous and non-ferrous metals including copper, aluminum, steel, iron, brass, stainless steel, lead, and more. We also accept electronic waste, appliances, and automotive scrap.

How are your scrap metal prices determined?

Our prices are based on current commodity market rates and are updated regularly. Prices may vary depending on the type, quality, and quantity of material. Call us for the most current rates.

Do you offer pickup or container service?

Yes, we offer roll-off container delivery and pickup service for businesses and job sites. We have multiple container sizes available and can work with your schedule. Contact us to arrange delivery.

What are your business hours?

We are open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. We are closed on Sundays and major holidays.

Do I need an ID to sell scrap metal?

Yes, a valid government-issued photo ID is required for all scrap metal transactions. This is required by law to help prevent theft and ensure responsible recycling practices.

How should I prepare my scrap metal?

For the best prices, separate your metals by type (copper, aluminum, steel, etc.) and remove any non-metal attachments when possible. Clean, sorted metal fetches higher prices than mixed loads. We accept unsorted loads too — we just can't offer top prices for mixed material.
